I am a member of 3Green.
My neighbour's dog always make so much noise in the middle of the nite and early morning (5-6 am), thus disturbs my sleep, barks at the joggers at the padang, thus create unnecessary stress to those who wants to release stress by jogging and barks at anyone who comes near to the house gate, thus harass neighbours' visitors.
Despite the secured place,and we have to pay RM60 pm to have a peaceful nite sleep, my family still have sleepless nights because of the dog's barking.
What can I do? what is my rights as neigbour? Shall I complain to MPSJ, or complain to Commitee? Pls advise.
I am sorry to hear that your family is experiencing sleepless nights because of the dog's barking.
While this does not actually fall in the Committee's jurisdiction.. I can only advise that you may want to address this issue with the dog owner in question first before making an official complain to MPSJ.
Making a complain to MPSJ may result in the dog's arrest and possibly termination. Being a dog owner myself, I do not believe that there are bad dogs, just bad owners.
