Dear Mr.Andy,

There will two different task will be carried out ;

1. MPSJ will be fixing lamp with the bracket on every post which dun have any lamp now. But, when it come to numbers of lamp, its still depend on MPSJ decision. They might not fix too many lamps at a same place. As their concern, excessive light intensity can give bad effect on environment (eg. Plant growth). As I understand, they will brighten up the place.

2.TNB will be replacing all the old 70W to 100W. There will be no more 70W bulb can be seen at your area once this task done :)

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Mr Pershanta Kumar,

Thank you for your reply. It certainly has answered my questions. I'm very impressed to see MPSJ and TNB working closely and proactively to brighten up Subang Jaya resulting in a more crime free place for the residents.

However, I'd like to know whether ALL the lamposts will be installed with new bulbs including those without the holders which I highlighted to Ms Ong in my earlier mail to her.

Thanks and regards,

Thank you Li Ling.

Dear Mr.Andy,

You have raised two issues here;

1. Need more street lights
2. Existing street lights not bright enough.

For your information, MPSJ are working with TNB to fix street light on every post at USJ 3 area soon. We have done all the cost estimation of fixing street lights and forwarded it to MPSJ personals. It's staging at application process now.

The existing street lights at USJ3 area are using 70W bulb. We are in the midst of replacing all the 70W bulbs at Subang Jaya to 100W which will be more brighter. We will replace 70W bulb at USJ 3 in three weeks time

Hope I ve answered you. Feel free to call or mail me if you need more information.

Thanks & Regards,

How I wish there are just as helpful people in other government depts.

As such we've managed to fence up our area and engaged security guards to look after our families and us 24hrs. This peace of mind of course comes with quite a hefty bill and fortunately most of the residents agree to contribute monthly to pay for the guard services.

I would appreciate very much if you could send some of your officers to our area ( USJ3/1, 1A to 1H) and assess the situation. In fact, I would very much like to meet you to explain in detail. I can be reached at 0193337088.
