Kindly be advised that On-Line registration will only be accepted by SJ Alert up to Tuesday, 01/02/2011 at 5.00pm. Registration after this time may not be recorded.

You can also register directly at the Balai Polis near you by using the official Borang Maklumat readily available at all participating Balai Polis.

Just a reminder, do register early so that the Polis can plan their Patrols efficiently, do not send in your registration at the very last moment.

If you are driving this Chinese New Year, please do so safely and remember to get your passengers seated at the rear of the car to buckle up.

Dog Found at USJ 3/1F

While on bicycle patrol last night, we came across a small dog wandering weakly around bend of Jalan USJ 3/1F. It look like a black and silver Miniature Schnauzer ( possibly mixed ). Rather than leaving it on that particular stretch of road where cars frequently pass... I brought it home and fed it.

Call your Cops direct

CALL your cops direct for emergencies or enquiries.

Residents of Subang Jaya and USJ can now call their own neighbourhood policeman on the latter’s mobile number for emergencies or enquiries, an extension of the community policing campaign launched by the police district recently.

Subang Jaya OCPD ACP Zainal Rashid Abu Bakar said policemen were going around meeting residents to distribute sector cards which contain the name and mobile phone numbers of the police constable in charge of security of a particular area.

The sector cards are similar to a name card, according to ACP Zainal.

“Subang Jaya has been divided into smaller areas or sectors and is supervised by one or two constable rank policemen.”

“Residential areas will be our first target. It is our intention to encourage residents to know the personnel who monitor their area,” he said.

ACP Zainal said with the calling card, residents could call the personnel on duty any time and make reports or complaints about suspicious activities in their neighbourhoods.

1st Recycling Day of Year 2011

The 1st Recycling Day of the year will be held on Jan 16, 2011 instead of the usual Feb 9, 2011 as the latter date will be too close to Chinese New Year. We gather that it would be a great time to get rid of all you unwanteds from 2010; hence we hope once again for your support to bring out

• Old newspapers / magazines / cardboards
• Aluminium cans / tins / steel containers / plastic bottles
• Used Car batteries / old electrical applicances
• Old clothings / other recyclables

to the wooden gazebo at USJ3/1 padang on Sunday ( January 16, 2011 ) between the hours of 1:00pm till 5:00pm.

Our Pro-tem committee members / street representatives will be present to recieve your recyclables; Neighbours are also invited to come and meet up with us if you have any questions pertaining to our GnG initiatives.

Little Black Dog lost

One of our residents, Christine has reported finding a little black dog ( a little terrier like ) at Jalan USJ 3/1F and is wondering if anyone is missing their dog. Take note that your doggie is safe and sound and is anxious to find you.
